Join Our Procurement Panel Pilot

We are piloting a new Resident Procurement Panel, this is a chance for you to play a meaningful role in shaping how we choose the contractors who deliver key services in your community.

Your views will directly influence important decisions and help ensure we work with contractors who understand and meet residents’ needs.

What the Panel will be focusing on first

The Resident Procurement Panel will begin by focusing on lift repairs and maintenance services. Contractors will be bidding across three separate areas across the UK, and we need one resident representative for each area.

What you’ll be doing

You will sit on a panel for up to two days, scoring contractor presentations linked to the resident experience question in the tender. You will attend our office in Oldham, working alongside other residents and Guinness staff.

A briefing session will be offered beforehand so you know what to expect, with further information shared on the day.

When it will happen

The proposed activities will involve up to two days of participation. Final details will be confirmed as planning progresses. If timelines remain on track, these sessions will take place week commencing Monday 13 July 2026.

Successful applicants will be kept updated on any changes.

What you will receive

You will receive an Evoucher worth up to £100 per day for your time. Travel expenses will be reimbursed for all panel members, and accommodation will be provided if you are not based in or around Manchester. Further details will be shared if you are selected.

You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and learn more about how we handle procurement at Guinness.

Looking ahead

Due to the nature of the Procurement Panel, members will not meet on a regular schedule. Instead, if selected, you may be contacted and asked to participate as and when your input is needed.

How to apply

As this is a pilot, we’re looking for people who are keen to take part in similar activities in the future. If you’re unable to join the first focus session but would still like to be involved, you are welcome to submit an application.

To express your interest, please fill out the application form at the bottom of the page.

Applications must be submitted by the end of the day on Sunday 21 June 2026.
