Who we are and what we do

We have a small team who manage our social investment work across the country. Some support projects are local, and some are national and offered across the country.

The team divide their work into three themes:

  • Reduce Hardship
  • Inclusive Communities
  • Education, Employment and Training

Partnership based working

We partner with local organisations and charities who can deliver projects and meet the needs of our residents on our behalf. We don’t deliver services ourselves but develop partnerships with others who are experts in their field.

  1. Our Social Investment team find out that there is a need for support in a certain area
  2. The Social Investment team look into what support is already in that area
  3. The Social Investment team look at what solutions are available
  4. The Social Investment team build partnerships with the existing providers in the area
  5. It is agreed what support will be offered and who by
  6. The support starts being offered and is monitored by the Social Investment team
